Sunset Cellars

Sunset Cellars was established by Doug and Katsuko Sparks in 1997. They also founded the Suisun Valley Wine Co-op in June of 2007.

Sunset Cellars is committed to offering wines of high quality and value and the Sparks especially like the fruit – and the people – from Suisun Valley. Sunset is best known for its red wines, which include Barbera, Petite Sirah, Syrah and Zinfandel, but they also make a Pinot Gris for white wine fans. Their goal is to create supple red wines that have a lot of natural fruit flavors. 

They call their approach to red wine "Zen Zin", which means there is a minimalist winemaking style so that the wines express the flavors and characteristics which are first created in the vineyards.
