Celebrate Oktoberfest at the tasting room at Anheuser-Busch Fairfield!
Kick off with an Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, Oct. 6 and get a taste of Germany with a special, limited-time menu of Anheuser-Busch Oktoberfest beers, including Spaten Lager, Spaten Optimator, Spaten Oktoberfest and Franziskaner. These beers will be available in the Tasting Room while supplies last.
From noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, guests will experience an authentic Oktoberfest celebration with the Oktoberfest beers and a spread of German-inspired treats. The Die Alpen Band will set the perfect Oktoberfest atmosphere with live German folk music, complete with traditional Bavarian and Austrian folk dances from Alpenntanzer Schuhplatter Dance Group at 2:30 p.m. For those seeking a fun challenge, there will be stein holding and stein relay competitions and yard games for guests of all ages.
While at the brewery, guests are also invited to explore the passion and high quality ingredients that go into brewing Anheuser-Busch beers with a brewery tour or Beermaster tour. Each experience includes a free beer sample for guests 21 and older. The gift shop will also be open for guests who would like to commemorate their experience with brewery keepsakes and limited-edition Oktoberfest merchandise. The tasting room will be open to 6:30 p.m. and the gift shop will be open to 7 p.m.
Opened in 1976, the Fairfield brewery has quickly become Anheuser-Busch's “greenest” brewery. The brewery uses energy from the sun and wind through a 7-acre solar array and two wind turbines. On average, the brewery sources approximately 30 percent of its electricity needs from alternative energy. All of the brewery tours offer a perspective and understanding of brewing Budweiser that you won't find anywhere else. From the advanced brewing technology to engaging storytelling, you'll get a feel for the historical significance of one of America’s oldest brewers.
