We cannot believe how much is happening this weekend in the Fairfield/Suisun region! Whether you're looking for some outdoor recreation, art, wine or adorable baby animals, Fairfield has all that - and more! - this weekend.


Lynch Canyon Trail Run - Hundreds are expected to take part in the annual trail run Saturday at the beautiful Lynch Canyon, part of the Solano Land Trust. This event includes a 5k, 10k, half-marathon and community hike and everything will kick off at 8 a.m. The trail run has earned a reputation as the perfect combination of challenge and fun for participants of all ages. Art on the Vine at Wooden Valley Winery - The two-day festival at Wooden Valley Saturday and Sunday is a great opportunity to admire and purchase art from local and regional artists. There will also be live music, wine tasting and food trucks. Art on the Vine is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and will also coincide with Wooden Valley's Wine and Song Sunday event featuring music from DebraLee & Her Brad Habit.

Baby Animal Shower at the Suisun Wildlife Center - You are all invited to the wildlife center's annual baby animal shower Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy cake, refreshments and visits from the education animals. The event gives guests the unique opportunity to view the baby animals the center cares for. Gifts for the babies are welcome and appreciated.

Wine & Canvas with Vezer Family Vineyard - Vezer Family Vineyard will combine paint, wine and delicious food Sunday in a fun, creative event for all. Wine & Canvas at Mankas Corner Gardens will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Spend the evening painting a beautiful park bench on a canvas you can take home with you. Cost to participate is $35 club members and $45 for the general public and includes all art materials and canvas. Visit for more information.
