This Saturday, May 6, NorthBay Healthcare presents the 3rd annual Cinco K Run & Taco Fiesta, the largest Cinco De Mayo themed celebration in the county at Fairfield's Anheuser-Busch Brewery.
Anheuser-Busch, Western Health Advantage, Rubio’s, the Fairfield Police, vendors and several local sponsors have joined forces for an incredibly fun and memorable event to benefit the Fairfield Police Athletic League.
The event features a festive atmosphere with music, food trucks and entertainment located at the world-renowned Anheuser-Busch Visitor’s Center in Fairfield. The expo and festival portion is free, while registered participants will be treated to a beautiful 10K, 5K or 1 Mile walk mid-morning with tacos, race medals, and a beer garden for those 21 and over.
Families will also enjoy a variety of free activities including rock climbing, Zumba, mechanical bull riding, and more. The event is designed for children and adults of all ages “…so dance, walk, run, and play,” says event organizer, O. Johnson. “You don’t even have to be a runner. All are welcome.”
The event has a “No Cinco K” option for participants who want to access the beer garden without the run portion.
