Fairfield's Anheuser-Busch Brewery is hosting its Eighth Annual Bud Classic Car Show this Saturday, Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests of all ages can admire a variety of classic cars, food, live music and a mobile beer garden. Admission to the event is complimentary, and those who wish to enter a car into the show can do so for $40 (day-of registration).
All proceeds will benefit Families Helping Families, Anheuser-Busch Fairfield’s own nonprofit organization, which is fully supported by retired and current Anheuser-Busch Fairfield employees. The organization, which started in 1985, supports Solano County families in need with monetary donations, food and personal supplies.
Guests of the Anheuser-Busch Fairfield Brewery on that day can also enjoy a brewery tour ($5 for guests over 21 and $2 for guests ages six to 20) or a unique beer experience, such as a Beermaster Tour. Tours begin at 10 a.m. For more information, visit BudweiserTours.com. For safety reasons, children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the tours.
The Budweiser brewery is located at 3101 Busch Drive, Fairfield. It is about a mile away from the famous Jelly Belly Factory, which will be hosting its two-day Candy Palooza celebration beginning on Saturday. Candy Palooza celebrates all that is sweet in life and will feature a carnival, musical entertainment, factory tours, pony rides, vendor booths and more! Parking and admission are free, although some activities, like the carnival, will require an additional fee. Candy Palooza will be going on from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at One Jelly Belly Lane.
