It's the 10 year anniversary of Northern California's favorite holiday tradition, Holiday in the Park, at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom!
Guests can enjoy the delights of the holiday season including favorite holiday shows, festive attractions, sledding down a giant snow hill and of course, the perennial favorite: meeting Old St. Nick, Santa Claus himself! Back this year is Six Flags Dazzle, a dancing light show that is a visual feast for the eyes!
Holiday in the Park will be open on weekends beginning Friday, November 24 through December 17, and then daily from December 22 through December 31, 2017. Please note special operating hours with the park open at 12 noon prior to Christmas Day and 11 a.m. after Christmas. The park is closed December 25.
Holiday in the Park features themed holiday areas with life-sized toys, live entertainment and festive attractions to get everyone in the holiday spirit. Guests can meet Santa Claus in a charming Santa's Workshop and kids can get their hoilday photo with Santa and take care of the important business at hand. Other transformed areas of the park include Candy Cane Lane, a canopy of larger-than-life candy canes and lollipops; Toy Land where one can pose beside an enormous Nutcracker soldier, giant teddy bear and other gargantuan toys; and the fragrant Christmas Tree Forest.
An array of holiday-themed wildlife presentations are yuletime highlights that include Drench! Celebrates, a spectacular nighttime dolphin show in Toyota Stadium, there's fun live-dancing in the Main Plaza's Main Street Festival of Lights, Happy Holidays in Adventure Theater, plus a fun Christmas presentation in Sea Lion Stadium. In additon to the holiday happenings, guests can also enjoy a wide variety of holiday fare plus thrill to the best of the park's rides and attractions that includes the most thrilling coasters in Northern Califonria.
