A tradition for nearly three decades, the beloved Fairfield Tomato Festival returns to downtown Fairfield this weekend, Aug. 18 and 19.

This year marks the 27th Annual Tomato Festival in downtown Fairfield! The festival is produced by the Fairfield Main Street Association and draws more than 25,000 visitors to our historic downtown.   This year’s festival is celebrating the community's agricultural heritage by adding vines! Visitors will see more fresh produce options including grapes and melons.

Activities and entertainment are planned throughout the weekend. Enjoy tomato samples and a farmers market in Tomato Alley at Jackson and Texas Street, live music on two stages, a classic car show Aug. 19, unique vendors, and a carnival with rides and midway games open Aug. 17-19.
