You really can never go wrong with pairing chocolate and wine, as the Suisun City Waterfront has found with its successful and very popular annual celebration returning Oct. 7.
The 13th annual Art, Wine & Chocolate Festival, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 7, celebrates the waterfront and features sampling of top wines from local regional wineries coupled with terrific chocolate treats like candy, cupcakes and fudge. More than 85 artisans will also display hand-crafted items and sell their art creations. Walk the vendor fair, listen and dance to live music, and enjoy a meal from one of the many food booths on site. Center-stage entertainment will include the bands Whiskey and Honey and the Black Rock Project.
Admission is free and all ages welcome. Wine tasting tickets will be available to purchase at the event. Attendees may purchase wine by the glass (6 oz.- must be over 21) for $10 (includes commemorative glass); refills are $8. The ticket booth will be located at the intersection of Solano Street and Kellogg Street.
