A rustic destination, Suisun Valley is a fun place for visitors who are searching for world-class wines, home grown farm products, and a beautiful, agricultural landscape, without the crowds. It's truly one of the region's hidden gems, as few travelers driving Interstate 80 between Sacramento and San Francisco realize that just mere miles from the Fairfield city limits is a thriving wine country. It's an off the beaten path wine country destination that welcomes neighbors and visitors from both near and far.

The Suisun Valley appellation was established in 1982, and is nestled between two coastal mountain ranges, southeast of Napa Valley. Approximately 10 wineries that grow 23 different wine grape varieties call this area home. Suisun Valley is beat known for Petite Sirah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. All the wineries are so close together that it’s easy to navigate the Suisun Valley “Loop.”
