Just in time for the upcoming harvest season, Suisun Valley will bring back its signature event, Passport Sunday, in August.
The 2021 Passport Sunday celebration will be Aug. 8 from 11 am to 4 pm. Hosted by the Suisun Valley Vintners and Growers Association, eight venues with 12 different wineries will be participating, offering the best of their wine and specialty products to visitors.
Tickets go on sale June 15. They are $50 each and include a signature wine glass, featuring our new logo, along with a tasting pass to enjoy wine at all participating venues. Designated drivers are free and will receive a gift bag from the association upon check in.
Food trucks will be parked at different locations throughout the event with food and non alcoholic beverages for sale.
Passport Sunday is returning to Suisun Valley following a one-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This event, the largest fundraiser of the year for the Suisun Valley Vintners and Growers Association, is traditionally in April. The association was already planning the 2020 celebration when it was cancelled because of the pandemic.
The safety of guests and the community remains a top priority for the wineries and farms. Recognizing the importance of social distancing, the association is limiting ticket sales to 600 people, a significant decline from 2019’s attendance of 1,000. Every location will have hand sanitizing stations and will follow all Solano County’s COVID-19 safety protocols.
The following wineries/venues are expected to participate in the 2021 Passport Sunday:
•Wooden Valley Winery
•Jelly Belly Candy Company
•Tenbrink Winery and Tolenas Winery
•Suisun Creek Winery
•Suisun Valley Wine Co-op (featuring King Andrews Vineyard, Sunset Cellars, and Blacksmith Cellars)
•Suisun Valley Filling Station (featuring Caymus Winery and Plough Family)
DISCLAIMER: MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD TO ATTEND & PRESENT ID AT THE ENTRANCE.
