Are you curious about our amazing night skies? Then don’t miss the Rush Ranch Stargazing program of 2017. The evening begins with a presentation in the Rush Ranch Nature Center by local astronomy enthusiast Jon Pannier, followed by outdoor telescope viewing when dark.

Summer hours: 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Sept 15: 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

COST: Free!

WHAT TO BE PREPARED FOR: (1) Telescopes will be on hand, but personal scopes and binoculars are welcome. You must be familiar with their set up and arrive before dark. (2) Children are welcome, but must be supervised at all times. (3) To protect night vision, flashlights must be covered with red cellophane which is available at the ranch, and latecomers are asked to dim their vehicle headlights when pulling into the parking lot.

These astronomy nights are made possible by Rush Ranch Educational Council volunteers.
